Job summary

Cencora, Inc. in Wyomissing, PA, is seeking an onsite Pharmacy Manager to oversee a community-based outpatient pharmacy serving Reading area patients, employees, and providers. The role features 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends and full-time commitment.

You will lead pharmacy staff, ensure regulatory compliance, manage inventory and workflows, and maintain quality and patient safety through supervision, training, and collaboration with Reading Hospital.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of progressively responsible pharmacy experience.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist license and injectables license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, evaluations, coaching of pharmacy team.
• Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy Standards.
• Manage daily pharmacy operations, policies, and procedures.
• Procure and dispense outpatient medications; verify per standards.
• Counsel patients on medications, dosages, interactions.
• Work with patients to answer questions and review plans of care.
• Maintain quality assurance, controlled substances security, and record-keeping.
• Advise program manager on procedure changes.
• Perform prescription verification and mentor staff.
• Handle customer inquiries and escalations.
• Provide pharmaceutical consulting to staff.
• Supervise customer files for license compliance.
