Job summary

Walgreens in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time certified Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. You will help process prescriptions, manage patient information, and ensure efficient workflow while delivering a positive patient experience.

You will lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians, assist in scheduling, and contribute to maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist with prescription processing and patient data entry.
• Lead training, scheduling, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; participate in hiring.
