Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support pharmacist-led patient care in a busy community pharmacy. You will perform non-clinical operations, handle prescription data entry, patient registration, and inventory tasks while maintaining compliance and high accuracy.

You will lead training of technicians, assist with scheduling, ensure a positive customer experience, and help expand pharmacy services such as immunizations and health screenings where allowed.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital settings.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians.
• Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and adherence to Good Faith Dispensing.
• Support store management in pharmacy operations and inventory management.
