Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services. Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital settings.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care including prescription data entry and preparation of medications.
• Handle patient calls and respond to inquiries under pharmacist guidance.
• Lead and develop pharmacy technician staff, including training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations and manage inventory.
