Job summary

Walgreens Co. seeks a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure accurate dispensing, immunizations, and patient outcomes services. Lead staff, maintain regulatory compliance, manage inventory, and optimize workflow to improve patient satisfaction.

You will collaborate with store leadership and provide training and performance management to maintain high standards in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Immunizer certification or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves patient issues to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications, as required.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards; oversees staffing and shift changes.
• Maintains information technology knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff and patients with IT.
• Supports Store Manager in improving patient registration, exception resolution, and third-party audits.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution
