Job summary
Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region in Rutland, VT, seeks a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead the pharmacy service line across locations. The role guides strategic growth, patient access, financial and operational performance, and technology adoption.
The manager directly supervises Pharmacy Technicians, collaborates with site PICs, and drives service expansion, vendor and software agreements, and 340B initiatives to strengthen pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, pharmacy, health sciences, or related field preferred.
- Five years of progressively responsible pharmacy or healthcare operations management experience preferred.
- Experience leading staff, projects, and multi-site operations strongly preferred.
- Pharmacy licensure or certification is preferred.
- Prior experience with 340B is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides strategic leadership for the pharmacy service line across locations.
- Oversees staffing, workflow redesign, and cross-site consistency.
- Manages vendor, software, and wholesaler contracts and relationships.
- Analyzes financial performance and drives revenue optimization.
- Ensures compliance with laws, quality, and safety standards.
