Walgreens in Niles, IL is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under supervision of a pharmacist. You will help with prescription data entry, patient registration, and medication preparation while ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

The role includes training, coaching, and performance management of technicians, plus involvement in inventory control, insurance processing, and community outreach

Qualifications

• PTCB certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, and dispensing support.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy operations, inventory management and regulatory compliance.
• Process insurance claims and coordinate with providers to minimize claim rejections.
• Lead and train pharmacy technicians; participate in scheduling, performance management and discipline when needed.
• Contribute to store pharmacy outreach, community programs and patient experience improvements.
