Walgreens Co. in Michigan is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist.

You will process prescriptions, assist with patient registration, and participate in training and performance management of the team. The role includes handling patient calls, supporting immunization services where allowed, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Handle patient calls and contact physicians as needed under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist with healthcare service offerings and inventory management in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
