Job summary

Medix is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient medication distribution while guiding staffing, performance, and compliance within the organization.

You will integrate pharmacy services into broader clinical workflows, lead talent development, manage the 340B program, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing or immediate eligibility.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy practice experience.
• Proven track record in supervising personnel or directing pharmacy operations.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy law, controlled substance management, and clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily pharmacy operations to guarantee safe, accurate, and efficient medication distribution.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and professional development for pharmacy personnel.
• Provide administrative leadership over the 340B Drug Pricing Program, ensuring compliance and financial oversight.
• Integrate pharmacy operations into broader clinical workflows, collaborating with clinicians to enhance patient care.
• Enforce adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations, maintaining audit readiness and quality assurance.
• Participate as an active member of the organizational leadership team, contributing to cross-departmental problem-solving.
