Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations under a pharmacist's supervision. You will manage prescription data entry, prepare medications, and assist with patient calls to ensure accurate dispensing and patient satisfaction.

You will lead technician development, handle scheduling, and contribute to service delivery while adhering to company policies, laws and good faith dispensing standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking required.
• PTCB certification required (where applicable).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry, medication preparation, calls to patients and providers where allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians and supervise technicians, cashiers, and scheduling.
