Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensure efficient workflow, and support patient experience under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include prescription data entry, patient registration, vaccine administration where allowed, inventory management, training and supervising technicians, and coordinating with pharmacy management to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities under supervision.
• Process prescriptions and perform prescription data entry.
• Participate in patient registration and vaccine administration where allowed by law.
• Manage inventory and records, ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead non-clinical tasks and support store/pharmacy operations.
• Communicate with customers to provide assistance and resolve issues.
