Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician in Venice, FL. You will support non-clinical pharmacy operations, assist pharmacists with prescription processing, and help maintain efficient workflows to ensure a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform data entry, assist with vaccine administration and health services as allowed by law, and contribute to training and performance management of the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• PTCB certification is required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
