Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician Operations role in Florida. You will support non-clinical pharmacy operations, assist pharmacists with prescriptions and patient interactions, and help manage technicians to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.

Under supervision of a pharmacist, you will ensure accurate data entry, dispense support, and participation in insurance processing while maintaining regulatory compliance and Good Faith Dispensing practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care, prescription data entry, counting, and preparation.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and resolve issues with payors.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
