Job summary

Walgreens in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications while maintaining accurate records and ensuring a positive patient experience.

You will lead technician training and performance management, participate in scheduling, and help manage inventory and store operations per company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Under supervision, assist with non-clinical pharmacy operations and administration; ensure efficient workflow and compliant records.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians; determine scheduling and development of personnel.
