Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow and patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform data entry, medication prep, calls, and assist with immunizations and health services as allowed by law.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, manage inventory, and help with reports, scheduling, and store goals.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification.
• Under pharmacist supervision, handles non-clinical duties and supports health service offerings.
• Leads training and performance management of pharmacy technicians and coordinates scheduling and inventory.
