Job summary

Walgreens in Miami, FL is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will process prescriptions, enter data, and assist in vaccination and health screenings where allowed by law.

You will lead technician training, manage scheduling, ensure accurate insurance claims, and maintain inventory while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks.
• Assist pharmacist with prescription processing and patient data entry under supervision.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of technicians and schedule development.
• Ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience in the pharmacy.
• Manage inventory, reporting, and compliance with company policies and laws.
