Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical and clinical workflow. You will assist the pharmacist with patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, and prescription processing, while ensuring accuracy and customer service excellence.

Under supervision, you may participate in vaccine administration and health screenings, manage inventory, and help train and supervise technicians. A flexible schedule and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Count, verify, and dispense medications where allowed by law; conduct patient calls under pharmacist supervision.
• Support vaccine administration and health services as permitted by law; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
