Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required where applicable.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure an efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry, medication preparation, and patient calls under supervision.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians; participate in scheduling and staffing.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions in compliance with laws and policies.
• Ensure inventory management, recordkeeping, and security safeguards are in place; support community outreach and off-site immunization events.
