Job summary

Walgreens in Baltimore seeks a full-time, non-clinical pharmacy technician to support pharmacist-led operations, patient services, and administrative tasks while ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will perform prescription processing under supervision, participate in training and performance management of staff, and help drive pharmacy operations, inventory, and customer service improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities; ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Participate in selection, scheduling, development and training of pharmacy technicians; performance management including discipline and termination.
• Assist in delivery of patient care including registration, data entry, medication preparation, counting and verification where allowed by law.
