Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required where applicable.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital settings.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications and perform counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Make patient calls and support health service offerings under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead workflow by delegating non-clinical tasks and ensuring on-time completion.
• Participate in immunizations and screenings as allowed by law.
