Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required where applicable.
• At least one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians; handle scheduling and discipline per policy.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care activities including registration, data entry, and administering vaccines where allowed by law.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and Good Faith Dispensing; manage inventory and safeguard assets.
