Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. You will assist the pharmacist with patient registration, prescription processing and non-clinical tasks to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Under supervision, you will train and supervise technicians, manage daily schedules, and help implement new processes and technology across the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Process prescriptions under supervision, handle patient registration, data entry and basic medication preparation.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians; manage scheduling and workflow.
