Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician work experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure workflow efficiency and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient/drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; handle discipline decisions as needed.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care delivery including registration, data entry, medication prep, and contact with patients/physicians.
• Support immunization services, health screenings, and other allowed health services where permitted by law.
