Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required for pharmacy technicians.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and follow up with insurers.
