Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required where applicable.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital settings.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems and patient data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care: registration, data entry, med prep, counting, and verification.
• Under pharmacist supervision, support vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical work per company policies and ensure on-time tasks and workflow.
• Prepare/FILE reports for company and government agencies as directed.
• Manage inventory and ensure security safeguards and equipment operation.
• Communicate prescription errors to the pharmacist and support CQI processes.
• Assist in analyzing pharmacy metrics with store and pharmacy managers.
