Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician in Chesapeake, VA. You will support non-clinical pharmacy operations, process prescriptions, and help ensure a positive patient experience under pharmacist supervision.

You will assist with patient registration, data entry, vaccine and health service offerings where allowed, and participate in training and performance management of technicians. The role requires PTCB certification and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required.
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where required).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Support patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Participate in training, coaching, and performance management of technicians and staff.
