Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification is required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification.
• Under supervision, assist with health services including vaccines and screenings where allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical work within policies and ensure on-time workflow and accountability.
• Prepare and file reports and records required by the company and government agencies.
• Manage core pharmacy workflow and daily schedule; ensure proper stocking and inventory management.
• Communicate prescription errors to the pharmacist and follow QA procedures and policies.
