Job summary
Hims & Hers in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an on-site Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead our mail-order pharmacy team, ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and patient care in a fast-paced digital environment.
You will supervise pharmacy technicians, enforce state and federal regulations, develop workflows, and collaborate with leadership to drive efficiency while maintaining PHI privacy and HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (preferred)
- 5–7 years in a pharmacy supervisory role
- Experience managing licensed and registered pharmacy technicians
- Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as required
Responsibilities
- Oversee pharmacist tech workflow and operations in the front-end pharmacy
- Lead team huddles and one-on-one coaching to drive high performance
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Develop and implement scalable processes and SOPs
- Collaborate with leadership to align pharmacy operations with business needs
- Maintain PHI privacy and HIPAA compliance
- Conduct drug utilization reviews and patient counseling as needed
- Support hiring and onboarding of pharmacy staff and technicians
- Licensure readiness across required states
