Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow and positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, enter data, assist with vaccinations and health services, and manage non-clinical tasks and inventory.

You will lead training and performance management for technicians, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and ethics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification required.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care, including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications and verify work under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer non-clinical questions to ensure positive customer experience and support pharmacy operations.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of technicians and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage inventory and support cooperation with store and pharmacy managers.
