Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician in Minnesota to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform prescription processing, patient data entry, and participate in vaccine administration and health services where allowed. You will lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians, while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Handle patient registration and insurance processes and vaccine administration where allowed.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory under pharmacist supervision.
