Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician in Minnesota. You will support non-clinical operations, process prescriptions under a pharmacist, and help maintain efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsibilities

• Engages in day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Oversees selection, scheduling, and development of pharmacy technician personnel and leads training and performance management.
• Delivers patient care support including patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications within legal scope.
• Supports vaccine administration, health screenings, and other services allowed by law as directed by the Pharmac y Manager.
