Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient care under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will help with registration, data entry, dispensing support, and contribute to an efficient workflow and positive patient experience.

You should have a High School Diploma, PTCB certification, and at least one year of pharmacy tech experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care delivery, including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and verify under pharmacist supervision.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work to pharmacy staff as allowed by policy.
• Maintain inventory, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support vaccination services, health screenings, and other eligible health services as allowed by law.
