Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician in Hemet, CA to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow and patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform data entry, dispense with accuracy, assist with vaccines and health services where allowed, manage inventory, and support store operations while upholding regulatory and company policies.

Excellent communication and readiness to work evenings/weekends are required; PTCB/ExCPT

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care: registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation and verification under supervision.
• Respond to non-clinical questions and help ensure a positive patient experience.
• Process insurance claims and coordinate with providers to reduce denials.
• Support inventory management, reporting, and compliance with company policies.

Skills

PTCB or ExCPT certification

English proficiency

Retail pharmacy experience

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
