Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and perform counting/verifications where allowed by law.
• Support health services such as vaccines and health screenings where permitted.
• Delegate non-clinical tasks under policy and supervise other technicians as directed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Communicate prescription errors to the pharmacist and assist in quality improvement efforts.
• Coordinate inventory and ensure proper stocking and upkeep of the pharmacy.
