Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services in a fast-paced retail environment in North Carolina. Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform prescription data entry, medication preparation, and patient communications to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and a positive patient experience.

The role requires PTCB certification (or active pursuit), high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year of pharmacy technician

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required or held.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care delivery, including registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications, count, and verify as allowed by law; conduct patient calls under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead non-clinical personnel management tasks, including scheduling and training where applicable.
• Support inventory management and ensure accurate records and reports for regulatory compliance.
• Engage customers to deliver excellent service and promote Walgreens health services.
