Job summary

Orsini Rare Disease Pharmacy Solutions seeks a Director of Pharmacy Operations (RPh) to lead the specialty pharmacist team across onsite and remote operations. You will drive clinical services, ensure regulatory and payer compliance, and partner with nursing, providers, and leadership to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires a PharmD or ACPE-accredited degree, active license, and 8+ years in pharmacy with leadership experience, plus familiarity with REMS and LD drugs.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist degree and active license in good standing.
  • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.
  • 8+ years in pharmacy with specialty exposure; 3+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the specialty pharmacist team across onsite and remote operations.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain specialty pharmacists.
  • Establish competency assessment, continuing education, and professional development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal pharmacy regulations and payer requirements.
  • Develop KPIs and drive continuous quality improvement.
