Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. in the United States seeks a versatile clerical and distribution associate to support prescription fulfillment and billing. You will handle documentation, communications with customers and providers, and processing of orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, generating confirmations, and ensuring accurate packaging and labeling for shipment. A state pharmacy technician license is required where applicable, with PPE clearance as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year clerical/office experience.
• Education to meet state licensure requirements as directed by state of jurisdiction.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with providers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete and accurate documentation for prescription fulfillment and billing.
• Communicate with customers to answer questions and refills for medications and supplies.
• Prepare and process customer orders timely and accurately.
• Review and enter Confirmation of Orders and medical documentation for dispensing Rx and Billing RXs.
• Generate Confirmation of Orders for providers and obtain necessary approvals.
• Communicate with providers the documentation required to complete an order and follow up daily.
• Enter customer orders and verify demographic information for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot customer accounts, including tracking packages and prescription questions.
