Job summary

Sentara Health in Chesapeake, VA is hiring a Pharmacy Navigator to guide specialty pharmacy patients through their medication journey, coordinating refills and deliveries, monitoring adherence, and helping resolve insurance or financial challenges with the care team.

You will educate patients about the benefits of our specialty pharmacy, support outpatient retail and specialty prescriptions, track medications, and maintain accurate documentation across required systems.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician license valid in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide specialty patients through the medication journey and address concerns.
• Coordinate refills and deliveries with pharmacists and clinic staff.
• Monitor adherence and assist with insurance or financial challenges.
• Educate patients on benefits of the specialty pharmacy and its impact on care.
