Job summary

Prominence Health seeks a motivated and patient-focused Member Outreach Pharmacy Representative to join our team in Reno, NV. This role acts as the liaison between Prominence Health Plan, its members, and contracted providers, contacting members by phone to inform and educate them on health insurance offerings and services.

The position also resolves drug-related care gaps during outreach, supports program development, and provides education and technical assistance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Current PTCB license preferred
• Pharmacy technician licensure preferred
• 3+ years' experience making outbound calls to members or patients preferred
• 3+ years' in retail/community pharmacy preferred
• Strong customer service skills, patient-focused over the phone
• Knowledge of health plan departments and problem resolution
• Understanding of pharmacy dispensing laws
• Ability to track performance metrics and meet targets
• Good computer skills (MS Office) and English (Spanish preferred)

Responsibilities

• Contact Prominence Health Plan members by phone to inform and educate on offerings and services
• Respond to inquiries and assist with quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as lead to resolve drug-related care gaps during telephonic outreaches
• Facilitate the development of outreach programs and provide education and technical assistance
