Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a Pharmacy Medication History Technician I to support medication history capture and reconciliation for pediatric patients.

You will collaborate with the health care team to ensure accurate records and educate patients and families on the importance of complete medication histories. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, completion of an ASHP/ACPE accredited training program, and 0–2 years of technician experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Completion of an ASHP/ACPE accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• PHAR-C - Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete medication histories for patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate medication records.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the importance of accurate medication information.
