Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D expressed as minimum educational requirement.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, compliance, operations, software and insurance billing.
Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state/federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

Counsel patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
Perform dispensing tasks, drug therapy reviews, and verification of medications.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies; manage staff scheduling and shifts.
Oversee pharmacy workflow, inventory, and store health services.
Lead training and performance reviews of the pharmacy staff.
