Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited school.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance billing.
Experience with prescription dispensing activities and state/federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions and generic options.
Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications according to regulations.
Oversees staff scheduling, training and performance reviews.
Ensures compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and applicable laws.
