Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a busy pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance. The role includes overseeing inventory, staff performance, and workflow optimization to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include immunizations, drug therapy reviews, and collaboration with store leadership to grow health services in the community. A PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and active licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Experience with pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Engages patients with empathy, greeting and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Counsels on medication use, interactions, side effects, and privacy, and refers to medical provider when needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and efficient pharmacy workflow, including staffing and scheduling.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems, billing, documentation, inventory, and POS.
