Job summary

Walgreens in Flint, MI is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to lead clinical services and daily operations. The role includes counseling patients, performing drug therapy reviews, immunizations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all pharmacy processes.

Qualifications

Requires Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD and active pharmacist license in district states.
Immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing and recordkeeping.
Experience with prescription dispensing and state/federal controlled substance laws.
Leadership or performance review rating expectations for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, interactions, and safety.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Ensures accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance in all pharmacy operations.
Maintains efficient workflow, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
Provides immunizations and wellness services as part of clinical offerings.
Supports Store Manager in employee development and performance management.
