Responsibilities include counseling patients, managing inventory, collaborating with store leadership, and monitoring performance to enhance patient experience and pharmacy

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state/federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage, side effects, interactions and safety.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications accurately.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies; oversees staff scheduling and shift changes.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff with IT tools; improves productivity.
• Manages inventory and oversees pharmacy financials; enhances patient experience.
