Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee in-store pharmacy operations in the United States. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate dispensing, and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines while expanding clinical services such as immunizations and wellness programs.

Responsibilities include optimizing workflow, improving patient experience, and partnering with store leadership to drive growth and excellence in service.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication use, interactions and side effects.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in compliance with laws.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling and workflow to ensure efficiency.
• Lead training and performance reviews for pharmacy staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support immunization, diagnostic testing and wellness services offered by Walgreens.
