Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to plan, direct and supervise daily pharmacy operations. You will hire staff, conduct performance reviews and ensure safe, accurate dispensing of prescriptions.

You will lead the implementation of pharmacy programs, manage finances, inventory and patient services while mentoring pharmacists and technicians to deliver excellent customer care and ensure compliance with policies and state/federal laws.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year management experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and procedures, and state/federal regulations.

Aufgaben

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement and execute pharmacy programs including financial results, clinical services, labor, inventory, stock loss, security, patient services and profitability.
• Educate and mentor pharmacists and technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their highest level.
• Hold team members accountable for results and drive growth of the pharmacy business.
• Show strong leadership and development capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Perform clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
