Job summary

Meijer seeks a pharmacy leader to oversee daily operations in our Bowling Green, OH location. You will staff, hire, train, and evaluate pharmacists and technicians; ensure safe filling of prescriptions; manage clinical services and inventory; and drive profitability while maintaining patient safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist.
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies and state regulations.
• Successful completion of all required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises pharmacy team in day-to-day operations.
• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Prepares and conducts performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Manages pharmacy programs, including clinical services and profitability.
• Educates and mentors staff to be effective team members.
• Holds team accountable for results with leadership to grow the business.
• Oversees immunizations and regulatory compliance where allowed.
