Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead store pharmacy operations in Grantsville, WV. You will oversee dispensing, patient consulting, immunizations, and clinical services while ensuring compliance and optimal workflow. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential to drive service quality and pharmacy performance.

You will manage staff, partner with the Store Manager, and uphold Good Faith dispensing, privacy, and inventory controls in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and pharmacy operations.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership rating on last review and disciplinary history per internal policy.

Responsabilités

• Engage patients and resolve issues to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Counsel patients on medication use, interactions, and OTC options.
• Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, scheduling, roles, and workflow efficiency.
• Open/close the pharmacy and manage shift changes.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on strategic opportunities and staff coaching.
• Manage IT, inventory, and reporting within the pharmacy.
