Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree.
• Immunizer certification or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including prescription dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, privacy, generics, cost, and OTC products.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Oversees pharmacy operations: staff scheduling, roles, activities, and shift changes; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Partners with Store Manager to develop strategic opportunities and improve pharmacy performance.
